Apple Shading

Second graders learned how to shade 3 apples.
They started by painting a heart shape with tempera paint.

After the paint dried they divided the paper in half to show a wall and a table.
They colored the wall with a crayon pattern...

and colored the table with chalk pastel.

Finally they added stems and highlights and shadows.

Had to share how this student organized their crayons.
