Practice Cutting
We work on many skills in art and one thing that first graders practice is cutting.
They started with a skill sheet.
They started with a skill sheet.
The instructions were to make designs on the shapes along the bottom, color them, cut them out, and glue them in the middle. What they made was up to them although Mr. Dot appeared in many of them.

Glitter Night
Second graders worked hard on finishing their Starry Night painting. They designed, colored, cut out and glued a unique town. Many of them added interesting and creative details to their town. They colored and cut out a cypress tree just like Van Gogh's. But the best part is the glitter. There's much excitement in the art room when the glitter comes out.
