Did you notice that we're making lots of rain forest art?
Tate Woods school has a rain forest inspired learning fair in April
so we're following that theme in the art room.
First graders apply liquid water color wash for a colorful sky.
When dry, they painted plants and flowers with tempera paint.
We have our colored paint in containers provided by our science teacher - thanks Sue!
She saves Beneful dog food containers that have colored lids so we can find our paint colors easily.
The containers are the perfect size for paint and very useful for holding many other things.
